Hightex at
a Glance
Organized by Teknik Fuarcilik, the first and
only exhibition in its concept in Turkey,
HIGHTEX 2010 3rd Istanbul Technical Textiles
& Nonwoven and Weaving Technologies Trade
Fair will be held on 15-18 May 2010, at
Tüyap Fair, Convention and Congress Center.
Technical textiles, once more, will gain
importance in 2010 with 3rd Istanbul
Technical Textiles & Nonwoven and Weaving
Technologies Trade Fair, HIGHTEX 2010.
HIGHTEX 2010, at which raw materials,
intermediate product and finished products
of technical textiles will be exhibited,
will be the largest meeting point of the
technical textiles and weaving technologies
of Middle East and Eastern Europe. HIGHTEX
2010 will bring together the raw material,
intermediate product, finished product and
production technologies of technical
textiles, the shining star of the sector,
and will host worldwide leading companies in
this respect. HIGHTEX Exhibitions, the first
of which took place in 2005, attracts a lot
of interest. HIGHTEX 2005 took place with
318 participants, 162 of which were
foreigners. 10,000 professional visitors
visited HIGHTEX 2005 and 1500 of it were
foreign. In HIGHTEX 2007, more than 320
expert companies from Turkey and 20 other
countries presented the latest products and
technologies on technical textiles and 170
of those companies were foreign. 10,000
professional visitors from Turkey and 35
other countries mainly from China, India,
Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Uzbekistan, Korea,
Taiwan, Greece, Ukraine, Czech Republic,
Germany, Belgium, Denmark, France and The
Netherlands, visited the exhibitions.
The difference between HIGHTEX 2010 3rd
Istanbul Technical Textiles & Nonwoven and
Weaving Technologies Trade Fair and the
first two exhibitions is that the third
edition will present weaving technologies,
as well. As seen in ITM 2009, the fact that
weaving industry preserved itself and goes
on as before with new technological
investments, created the need to present
weaving machines and technologies. In this
respect, at HIGHTEX 2010, weaving
technologies will be presented as well as
technical textiles and nonwoven
technologies. Teknik Fuarc›l›k has been
professionally offering services in
international exhibitions. Since 1996, it
has brought in numerous exhibitions of
textile sector and been successful.
